Why pitch on demo day

Unlike traditional demo days aimed at investors, OG Demo Day is built for operators, by operators.

This is your chance to get your product in front of the people who actually evaluate, recommend, and buy the tools that power high-growth companies: senior finance, strategy, RevOps, and people leaders.

What this means for participants:

  • A room full of actual buyers. Your audience is hundreds of vetted Operators Guild members and their peers. Think senior leaders with budget authority and toolstack influence.
  • May the best demo win. You’ll be selected by a peer-led committee of operators with expertise in your category through a democratic, transparent process that surfaces the best.
  • Get discovered by the people who matter. You'll present during a high-impact event where the only focus is product fit, value, and discovery.
  • Benefit from continued exposure. Even after the event, your demo lives on in our content archive and drives continued interest from operators evaluating their stacks.

Frequently asked questions

Who should apply to demo?

We’re looking for vendors with real traction and standout products that solve meaningful problems for operators. Ideal applicants have $1M+ in ARR, $5M+ raised, serve orgs with 500+ employees, and sell primarily into the U.S. market.

What do vendors get beyond the live event?

As a selected vendor, you’ll be featured in a curated, high-signal virtual event and deliver a 5-minute pre-recorded demo followed by a 3-minute live Q&A. Your product will be promoted to 1,000+ senior operators across the OG network, with continued exposure through post-event recaps, newsletters, and placement in our on-demand library. You’ll also benefit from social and community visibility before and after the event, along with access to post-event performance metrics like views, engagement, and interest.

Who will be in the audience?

OG Demo Day attracts senior operators across functions, including CFOs, COOs, and VPs of Finance, Strategy, RevOps, and People. Attendees range from pre-seed to pre-IPO companies, with representation from leading teams at some of the best companies in the world. Over 70% have direct buying power or significant influence over their company’s tech stack decisions.

What’s the format of the demo?

Each company will present a 5-minute pre-recorded demo, followed by a 3-minute live Q&A. A live voiceover is required during demo playback.

What’s the format of the event?

OG Demo Day is set to be held on October 21 and 22 from 9am PT - 12pm PT each day.

Each day will include multiple hour-long sessions, bucketed into the 9 curated categories. After each session, we’ll host a private, Operators Guild members-only Q&A and discussion, giving members a space to reflect, compare notes, and speak candidly about the tools presented.

How many companies will be selected?

We’ll feature 2–3 tools per category, for a total of roughly 20–25 companies. Selection is competitive and based on product strength, traction, and relevance to our operator audience.

What’s the selection process?

All applications are reviewed by the OG Demo Day Committee—a group of senior operators across finance, strategy, people, and RevOps. It’s a transparent, peer-led process with no pay-to-play shortcuts.
